To anyone who decides on his own risk to use this exchanger: double check rates on the site. Even triple check. Rates shown at bestchange.com are not even close to rates on the exchange site. For example on pair ETC classic -> USDT the rate shown at bestchange is 17.514414, while at the exchange they have 16.61002 rate.
I have reported about this problem to changenow support, 12 hours passed, and they did completely nothing.
For me — too many red flags to not consider this exchange as *** project.

The 3-day window means that you have 3 days to complete the verification process, and once successfully completed, your funds will be returned. However, it also states that in the case of non-compliance or suspicion of illegal activities, we may freeze the funds for any period of time necessary to carry out the investigation.
We strongly recommend that you proceed with the KYC process to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

it has been almost 5 months since my 1.2 Btc was blocked, yet changenow has not provided a single valid explanation. I have fulfilled all their requirements, completed kyc, provided all requested information about the origin of the funds, and my aml risk is below 50%, yet they continue to delay the return of my money without any legitimate reason.
Facts that indicate changenow is engaging in ***:
no proof of violations provided. I have repeatedly requested an aml report, but they refuse to provide it. What kind of “investigation” is this?
violation of their own rules. According to their section 3.8.2, If a client refuses to pass kyc, funds must be refunded. I completed kyc, yet my money is still held.
Endless "investigation." They claim the process is “complicated,” but 5 months is not an investigation—it's deliberate stalling.
Other users are waiting 8–10 months! after researching complaints, i discovered i’m not alone. They systematically block funds without returning them.
Is bestchange supporting ***?
changenow was previously removed from bestchange, yet now they’re back. Why is bestchange protecting *** exchanges? why are they refusing to take action against a platform that blatantly violates its own terms?
i will share this case on reddit, twitter, and cryptocurrency forums. I urge everyone to be cautious of changenow and demand that bestchange investigate this situation!

I have reached out to them through email, live chat and even through the community telegram. They told me that they will be verifying that I am the owner of the transaction and asked for a bunch of information on day 2. I sent that information through to them immediately, and now I have been left in limbo. Being told that this is a complex case and is being dealt with internally. I am grateful that the transfer didn’t go through to the smart contract and that ChangeNOW has these policies in place. However it has now been 5 days with no ETA as to when I will be sent my funds. I was told that the team have reached out to simplex and are awaiting an update, however when I spoke to simplex this morning they said that they could not locate any such correspondence from ChangeNOW. Which has left me questioning what is being done in the backend.
While the customer service team is prompt at responding it feels like nothing is being done in the backend. They keep saying they will update me with but I am not told anything unless I prompt it first. I have used ChangeNOW multiple times in the past with no issue, however when an issue such as this has taken place I feel like nothing is being done to rectify it. It is quite a large transfer for me and this lack of communication and ETA has truly devastating to my mental health. I take responsibility for my error in this, however I have verified through both ChangeNOW and simplex that the fiat was exchanged and the crypto is now sitting with ChangeNOW. I’m not understanding why it takes this many days to just send that crypto to the wallet that I specify. I hope that this gets rectified ASAP and that the team are more transparent with progress rather than keeping things behind closed curtains.
I will make an update to this review with the progress as it comes through. Til then I’d say ChangeNOW front end customer service is quick to respond however the back end take way too long to fix issues that realistically should not take this long. I was an advocate for ChangeNOW amongst friends and family in the past but will have to be more weary to recommend the service in the future. I look forward to hearing back and getting this issue fixed ASAP.
