I believe the service may be abusing this rule, since their terms state that they do not guarantee a refund of funds. In other words, they may appropriate the funds for themselves, which I consider an abuse of these rules and fraudulent behavior.

Initially, the exchange service was offered a simple solution: to return the funds with a 5% penalty, as stated in their own terms and conditions. However, the exchange service insisted on proceeding with verification instead.

Not everything went perfectly.
In the chat, they unpleasantly stated, I quote, "The value of your coin is 0." I had to prove this "value" with links to exchange rates and explorer data. It later turned out that the provided Waves transfer address was actually an third-party exchange address, and the Waves weren't reflected in the AvanChange account on the third-party exchange. As a result, the AvanChange made a request to the exchange, and I had to wait two days for the issue to be resolved.
I'm not entirely sure this is the right approach for an exchanger to use a third-party exchange and then translate the exchanger problems with the third-party exchange to the client.
But at the end, the deal went through, the exchanger apologized, and issued a promo code for $10 for the next exchange.

I contacted AvanChange support, and they said they would issue a refund. A lot of time has passed, and support hasn't responded to my questions, nor have they returned my money.

After many hours, I received nothing, and then the Bitcoin exchange price rose significantly, and they simply refused to process the exchange in my favor.
I contacted AvanChange support, to which they responded:
"Unfortunately, funds cannot be deposited to your address because high-risk AML markers were detected in the incoming transfer.
Please send your wallet address for a refund to our email:
[email protected].
We recommend making future payments from addresses unrelated to the WhiteBit exchange to avoid further restrictions."
To clarify, I paid from TrustVallet with the same funds I received from this same exchanger several months ago.
The address specified for receiving BTC has never had a single transaction.
AvantChange simply made up an excuse and called it AML, simply to avoid paying me, since the Bitcoin price had risen significantly in just a few hours.
I strongly advise against working with this company if you value your time and money!
