The worst exchange service I’ve ever used.
I made three transfers, and all three times the funds were blocked due to AML checks.
Then they drag out the resolution process for 2–3 days.
When I transferred small amounts, I didn't even bother trying to get them back.
Recently, having forgotten just how awful this service is, I used it again—this time with a larger amount—and the result was the same: a block.
I need the money right now, but because of these people... I’m forced to let others down.

Then they drag out the resolution process for 2–3 days.

A friend was sending me a measly $30.

The transaction was suspended because the sending address was found to contain high-risk AML flags. In accordance with our security procedures and AML policy, the service cannot proceed with an exchange involving such details. Once the risk was identified, a refund was initiated, and you were notified accordingly in a timely manner.
Before creating each order, every user confirms their acceptance of the applicable AML/KYC Policy. In particular, users may either check the sending address in advance using an AML screening platform available to them or accept the risk that an exchange may be suspended and subsequently cannot be completed if high-risk flags are detected.
Please note that, in this case, the service did not request any additional documents, KYC verification, or other checks. Instead, the user was given the opportunity to arrange an immediate return of the assets. At this point, the refund has been successfully completed and the funds have been returned to the user in full. Therefore, the service has no outstanding financial obligations to the user.
We understand that such a situation may be inconvenient, especially when the funds are urgently needed. However, compliance with AML procedures is a mandatory measure intended to protect users and ensure that transactions are conducted lawfully.

Negative Experience – Avoid This Service
I used Tsunami to exchange funds transferred from Alfa Bank via SBP. The experience was deeply problematic.
Immediately after the transfer, Tsunami requested additional verification. Subsequently, they claimed my wallet (a fully KYC-verified Bybit account) failed their AML check. This makes no sense—the wallet is clean and confirmed as legitimate by other services.
The issue is clearly on Tsunami's end, not mine. They asked me to provide different wallet. I refused and requested a refund to my original account (Alfa Bank). Their response: I must file a claim, surrender 1% of my funds, and wait anywhere from 1 to 30 days for processing.
I eventually provided an alternative wallet and am still waiting for a resolution. The situation remains unresolved.
Do not use this service. Attractive exchange rates are not worth the hassle, delays, and financial penalties they impose. There are better alternatives.

I tried to buy crypto on Tsunami.cash and created an exchange application. After about a minute, the page showed an error. I contacted support, and they told me to “recreate a new application.”
However, when I followed their advice, I noticed that the official exchange rate had already increased — meaning I would have to pay more for the same amount of crypto.
This looks very suspicious. Either the site has serious technical issues or they intentionally delay exchanges to make users lose money. In both cases, it’s not trustworthy. I strongly do not recommend using Tsunami.cash.
However, when I followed their advice, I noticed that the official exchange rate had already increased — meaning I would have to pay more for the same amount of crypto.
