My husband and I tried to make a transfer through the X-Capital exchanger: to transfer rubles from VTB Bank to a Bitcoin account. We transferred 5,000 rubles. We made the payment using the QR code provided by the exchanger. The payment went through, but nothing was credited on the exchanger's website.
Support asked us for a payment receipt, which we provided. But they said that they still couldn't see our payment and couldn't confirm it. A couple of days later, when we contacted them again, they said that the bank had allegedly not confirmed the payment either. And for some reason, they asked us for a bank statement.
At the same time, support itself does not know what kind of statement they need. When I asked what kind of statement they needed: for a certain period or specifically for the payment, support did not respond for a couple of days, and then wrote: “Well.., send both.”
The app for this particular bank does not allow you to get a full statement online. To do this, I had to go to the nearest branch in the neighboring city. At the bank, they told me that the payment had gone through and that all the details were listed on the receipt. Fraudsters may ask for more detailed account information.
In the end, the money from the exchange office never arrived, and they insist that the payment allegedly did not go through. I never had such problems with any other exchange offices I used before. And the payment receipts with all the details were always sufficient: where and to whom the money went, at what time, when, and exactly how much.
I do not recommend using this exchanger. You may *** your money just like we did.

Below we consider it necessary to explain in detail the procedure of the exchange office and the reasons why a bank statement is required in this situation.
The fact of receipt of funds At the moment, the funds on your application have not actually been credited to the current account of the exchange office. Crediting of funds is confirmed not by a payment receipt, but by the recipient’s bank statement. Without the fact of enrollment, we, unfortunately, do not have the technical or legal opportunity to perform the exchange.
The difference between a receipt and a statement The payment receipt only confirms that you have initiated the payment in your bank. However, it is not a confirmation of the completion of the transfer. Bank statement only:
Confirms the payment status (executed / rejected / returned);
Contains a unique transaction identifier;
Allows the recipient bank and the payment provider to check and search for the payment.
It is for this reason that the support service requested a statement from you - this is a standard and mandatory procedure in case of non-receipt of funds.
Request for statements for the period and for the operation The request for two types of statements (for the period and for a specific operation) is due to the requirements of payment providers and bank compliance. Different statement formats may contain a different amount of data required for interbank reconciliation. This is not a sign of uncertainty or bad faith on the part of the exchange office.
Security and «fraudulent requests» The bank statement request does not provide access to your account, does not allow you to make any transactions and does not violate security. The following documents are regularly requested:

Bank position The message of the bank employee that «payment went through» means that the transaction was sent by the sending bank. This is not equivalent to the fact of crediting funds to the recipient. In practice, it is not uncommon for the payment:
Hangs on the side of the correspondent bank;
Returned to the sender;
Has the status «executed», but is not actually enrolled.
No intent or withholding of funds The exchange office does not withhold and cannot withhold funds that have not actually been received. We are interested in resolving the situation as soon as possible and fulfilling obligations to the client, but this is possible only after documentary confirmation of the crediting of funds or their status.
At the moment, the exchange has not been made solely due to the lack of receipt of funds to the exchange office’s account. For further proceedings and possible search for payment, a bank statement confirming the status of the transaction is required. It is impossible to confirm the payment without this document.
