WeChat CNY — an overview of the payment system from the Chinese messenger service
As of December 2022, WeChat was one of the most effective mobile messengers, with over 1.2 billion monthly active users. WeChat Pay is a payment feature integrated into the app through which users can quickly make payments using their smartphones.

The WeChat Pay service uses the spot exchange rate the settlement partner banks provided. WeChat supports the "T+1" settlement mode and requires a minimum payment of USD 800 or equivalent in other foreign currencies. WeChat Pay will transfer funds to your bank account on the next business day when transactions reach the minimum settlement amount.
WeChat Pay and the merchant share transfer fees. They are individuals and depend on intermediary financial organizations and banks.
