Privat24 is the best internet banking in Ukraine
Privat24 is the most famous and popular internet banking in Ukraine, owned by the Ukrainian PrivatBank. It is the largest bank in assets, the second largest in branches, and the first in Ukrainian retail banking. PrivatBank began operations in 1992 and was one of the first banks in the country to introduce digital banking and remote services through Privat24. In addition to Privat24, PrivatBank owns the PrivatMoney money transfer system and LiqPay service.
PrivatBank is the country's largest issuer and acquirer of electronic payment instruments. It was the first in Ukraine to connect Google Pay and Apple Pay payment services.
History of Privat24
Privat's Internet banking has been operating since 2001 the web version was launched. In 2010, mobile applications for Android and iOS were released.
As of 2023, there are 12 million registered users of the Privat24 mobile application:
- 80% — on Android,
- 20% — on iOS.
With the help of the mobile application, it is possible to manage bank accounts not only of PrivatBank but also of any other banks. A card from a third-party bank can be added to the app in a few clicks.
