Exchanging Dogecoin memcoin for Tether stablecoin
Dogecoin to Tether exchange options
There are 9 directions to sell DOGE for USDT available on the BestChange website:
- Ethereum (ERC-20);
- Tron (TRC-20);
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20);
- Solana (SLP);
- TON;
- Polygon;
- Optimism;
- Arbitrum;
- Omni.
A user can transfer Dogecoin cryptocurrency to an exchanger's wallet and receive USDT in any of the above networks. The choice of the network will depend on the purpose of using stablecoins further.
All of the above networks are safe enough to store USDT stablecoin, especially Ethereum, which has been operating since 2015 and has proven to be one of the most reliable. However, Ethereum's main problem was and still is high transaction fees, which can be tens of times the cost of transfers on L2 networks such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
The Solana, TON, Polygon, Optimism, and Arbitrum networks are suitable if a user needs fast and cheap transactions. In addition, these blockchains provide access to a wide range of DeFi tools that allow you to generate income through farming, lending, liquidity mining, and more.
Procedure for exchanging DOGE memcoin to USDT
Before selecting an exchanger, the user needs to specify the direction suitable for him, which can be found in the BestChange exchange table.
In the left column of the table, the user selects the asset they need to sell, in this case, Dogecoin memcoin (DOGE).
In the right column, there are options to buy this or that asset or currency. The user needs to choose one of the available options to receive USDT according to the desired network. The choice of the network depends on the exchange commission: the highest commission is on the Ethereum blockchain. The lowest fees are in Solana, TON, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
Some exchangers allow users to determine the level of commission: the higher the commission, the higher the transaction speed.
Selecting an exchanger
After the user specifies the exchange direction in the BestChange table, he will see a list of all suitable exchangers sorted by the exchange rate (at the top — the most favorable offers for the user).
In the table of exchangers presented, you can find all the necessary information indicating the peculiarities of the work of this site or that site. It is worth paying attention to the exchange limits (from minimum to maximum) and unique icons next to each exchange service's name. These icons indicate the working conditions of the exchanger, for example, the need for verification, the floating rate during transactions, and the mode of processing requests (manual, automatic, or semi-automatic).
If the user has made a choice, he should go to the exchanger's website to request an exchange.
Creating a request
To start the exchange, the user must fill out and then send the application form provided by the site. In this form, the user specifies the following data:
- The exchange amount in any asset (the value of the second in the field is pulled up automatically);
- The address for receiving USDT according to the selected network;
- Email address to which the exchanger will send a check after completing the transaction.
Some exchangers may require additional fields to be filled in, and may require you to be identified right during the exchange process.
Attention should be paid to the network receiving the asset when filling out the form. If the user makes a mistake when selecting the blockchain, USDT will be sent to another network, and the exchanger cannot warn about the incorrectly entered address. As a result, the user will have to transfer the assets to the correct network and incur additional costs.
After sending the completed form, you must wait for the exchanger to accept the application and send the wallet address for the DOGE cryptocurrency transfer.
Sending and receiving cryptocurrency
This is the last stage of the transaction. The user needs to transfer the specified amount of Dogecoin to the wallet address provided by the exchanger. After that, the platform must confirm the transfer from the user when a certain number of transaction confirmations is reached. Each exchanger sets the value differently.
After reaching the required confirmations, the exchanger will transfer USDT Stablecoin to the user's wallet. Usually, all transactions are fast — even on the Ethereum network (unless the user has instructed the exchanger to set a small network fee).
In rare cases, delays may occur on one network or another. If this happens, the user can check the status of the transaction in the appropriate block browser:
- Etherscan;
- Blockchair (supports multiple networks);
- Tronscan;
- BSCScan;
- TONScan;
- Polygonscan;
- Arbiscan.
