How to exchange Tron (TRX) to USDT?

Ways to exchange TRX cryptocurrency for Tether stablecoin using BestChange

Users can exchange Tron (TRX) for USDT on the Tron network or any other available on the BestChange exchange table:

If the user has an EVM-compliant cryptocurrency wallet, his address is also suitable for receiving USDT tokens in the BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism blockchains. The crypto address formats in the Tron, Solana, and TON blockchains are different from those used in EVM-compliant networks (BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and so on).

How to exchange Tron cryptocurrency to USDT: instructions

Step 1: Choose a destination and an exchanger

On the left side of the BestChange exchange table, TRON TRX should be selected, and on the right side, USDT should be used in the blockchain where the user wants to receive the stablecoin. After choosing the exchange direction, a list of exchangers that fulfill this user's request will become available.

When choosing an exchanger, you should consider its mode of operation, requirements for users (some exchangers may require identity verification), limits, available reserves, and other factors. Some exchanges, for example, have quite high requirements for the minimum amount of exchange, but they offer a favorable rate.

The exchange table helps you familiarize yourself with other useful information, such as the exchanger's age, the total amount of reserves, user reviews, and so on.

Step 2: Create a request

After choosing an exchanger, you must go to its website and fill out the exchange request form. In it, you need to specify the amount of exchange (in TRX cryptocurrency or USDT tokens) and e-mail address and enter the cryptocurrency wallet address to receive the stablecoins based on which network was chosen.

Many exchangers allow you to exchange without registration, but some services require registration. An e-mail address is required in almost all cases, and it is needed to provide a check on the operation. Still, some exchangers can offer alternative ways to deliver the check, such as through Telegram or other messengers.

It is worth noting that the choice of network will affect not only the cost but also the speed of the Tron to USDT exchange. The Ethereum blockchain will have the slowest and most expensive transactions, as it can only process up to 15 transactions per second. On the Tron network, transactions are cheaper and faster, but marginally so. The cheapest and fastest transactions are in Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and BNB Smart Chain.

In some cases, additional information (phone number, first and last name, etc.) may be required to create a request, and the exchanger itself may even request user verification (KYC), including during the transaction.

Step 3: Sending Tron to the exchanger's wallet

When the user sends the completed application form, the service should confirm it and, in response, send the address to which the specified amount of TRX cryptocurrency should be transferred.

If Ethereum was chosen as the blockchain to receive USDT stablecoin, it should be considered that it can process transactions for up to several tens of minutes if the blockchain is under a heavy load. However, many exchangers provide an opportunity to set the level of commission themselves, allowing you to choose the fastest way to deliver the stablecoin. The commission for the transaction itself will also depend on this.

To continue the transaction, the user must transfer TRX cryptocurrency to the wallet address provided by the exchanger before the timer expires. Usually, exchangers give up to half an hour for the transfer, after which the rate will either be recalculated, or the user will have to create a new application.

Step 4: Receive Tether (USDT)

The exchanger must confirm the TRX transfer from the user after reaching a certain number of transaction confirmations in the Tron network. Each exchanger will have different confirmations, but the average number is about 25.

It is worth paying attention to the transaction processing time: some exchanges may take up to 5 minutes, while others may take up to 1.5 hours or even more. This may depend on various factors, including the users' current activity and the method of processing requests (manual or automatic).

If the Ethereum network was selected and a long time has passed since the funds were sent, you should ensure that the transaction is displayed in the Etherscan blockchain browser using its hash. On other networks, you can check the status of the transaction using services such as:

  • BSCScan;
  • Tronscan;
  • Solscan;
  • Polygonscan;
  • Arbiscan and so on.

If the exchanger has not sent the funds within the specified time, it is recommended that the exchanger immediately contact its support service and clarify the situation.
